Glaze Terms of Service

Welcome to Glaze! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Glaze mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Glaze Media, LLC (“Glaze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Glaze, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (together, the “Agreement”). Do not use the Service if you disagree.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Glaze.
• Ages 13–17 may use the Service only with parental or guardian consent.
• By using Glaze, you confirm you meet these requirements and can enter a binding contract under applicable law.

2. Your Account

• Create an account to upload or interact with content.
• You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Glaze may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

3. User Content

Your Content

“Content” includes videos (“moments”), captions, images, text, audio, or any other material you create or share on Glaze.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of your Content. By posting or uploading, you grant Glaze Media, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

• Host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your Content within the app and across Glaze-related platforms.
• Use your Content, username, likeness, and related metadata in connection with operating, marketing, and promoting the Service—including advertising, campaigns, social media, PR, partnerships, events, and other commercial communications.

The license lasts while your Content remains on Glaze, except for reasonable copies kept for backup, safety, or legal purposes. Once you delete your Content or account, the license terminates automatically.

Your Responsibilities

Do not post Content that:

• Violates any law or regulation;
• Infringes intellectual property or publicity rights;
• Contains hate speech, harassment, explicit, or violent material;
• Includes others’ personal information without consent; or
• Violates our Community Guidelines.

Glaze may remove, restrict, or refuse Content that breaches the Terms or risks harm to the community or brand.

4. Community Guidelines

Help keep Glaze positive, safe, and fun:

• Treat others with respect.
• Engage authentically (no spam, fake engagement, or impersonation).
• Follow all applicable laws and platform rules.

Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent termination.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

• Certain features (e.g., subscription tiers or digital items like “Donuts” or “Glazes”) may require payment.
• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Prices appear in-app and may change.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal in your app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by the respective app store; Glaze cannot issue direct refunds.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, and software associated with Glaze belong to Glaze Media, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without written consent.

7. Safety and Security

We care about user safety, but you are responsible for your interactions on the platform. Report inappropriate content or behavior via in-app tools or by emailing support@getglaze.app. We may suspend accounts or remove content to protect users or comply with law enforcement.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines, or if your actions pose risks.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Certain provisions (licenses granted, disclaimers, indemnities) survive termination.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We make no warranties about reliability, availability, or performance.
• Glaze disclaims liability for data loss, interruptions, or unauthorized access.
• You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Glaze Media, LLC and its affiliates are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; or
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability will not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to Glaze (if any) in the previous 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glaze, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your Content; or
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Updates and Modifications

We may modify these Terms periodically. When significant changes occur, we will:

• Post the updated Terms within the app; and
• Update the “Last Updated” date above.

Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
• Disputes will be resolved individually through binding arbitration (no jury trial or class action). If arbitration is unavailable or unenforceable, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.
